Consulting, speaking, and coaching supporting adults with learning disabilities

Cape-Able Consulting was founded by Alex Rosenberg-Gilbert to support adults with learning disabilites. As someone with dyslexia and ADHD, she recognized a need for others in the neurodiversity community to receive supports within the workforce, finding employment, navigating relationships, and ensuring people recognize their own strengths and “cape-abilities”.

Cape-Able consulting aims to decrease the stigma around ADHD and other learning disabilities. Alex provides a range of services including corporate consulting, individual, relationship, and group coaching, online courses, and keynote speeches. She is also co-founder of the ADHD Lounge and upcoming podcast.

About Alex
Alex is a New Yorker, a Mets fan, a speaker, a mom, and a brunch enthusiast. She also has dyslexia and ADHD.

Alex started Cape-Able Consulting because she wanted to change the perception around having learning disabilities and/or ADHD, and she wanted to empower those who have them. As someone who has navigated school and a busy career with learning disabilities/ADHD, she felt uniquely qualified for the job. Her career in leadership development inspired her to become a career coach for adults with ADHD and dyslexia.

Cape-Able Consulting has since expanded to support adults with learning disabilties across the spectrum, bringing together her lived experience with a passion for supporting neurospicy adults in their day-to-day so that they feel supported and are able to reach their highest potential. How Cape-Able Consulting Helps

Businesses
Alex is a passionate and impactful speaker who is sought out as a keynote speaker, and will be speaking at the Annual International Conference on ADHD 2023. She is also a popular podcast guest, bringing her relatable perspective to listeners around the world.

Alex works with businesses as a corporate consultant in creating more productive work environments, improved work satisfaction, and supporting all employees, including those who have ADHD and learning disabilities. With her extensive background in corporate leadership and development, Alex partners with Human Resource Departments and/or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) departments to create an action plan that supports their staff.

Individuals
Many of Cape-Able Consulting’s services are helpful for anyone who needs support focusing and overcoming challenges such as burnout, executive function, and decision fatigue. Most of Cape-Able’s clients are young-to-middle age adults (Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X) who have some secondary education or related aspirations. The obstacles they face include burnout, disorganization, lack of self-confidence and motivation, and mental health challenges. They aim to feel better in their daily lives, improve feelings of productivity, job satisfaction, financial independence, and overall happiness. Cape-Able is able to offer a suite of services for these individuals, beginning with a free 30 minute call to help “declutter the mind” and start to feel organized, which can also introduce clients to offerings which may be a good fit.

Self-paced courses can be an entry point for folks who are just beginning the job hunt from college, are looking to transition careers, or to declutter their lives (both physically and mentally!). Alex further offers 1-1 coaching with her best principles approach, and also 2-1 coaching for folks who are struggling with their family, friend, or other relationships as neurodiverse people. Alex also offers group coaching for adults diagnosed with ADHD in the past five years.

Finally, Alex is co-founder of The ADHD Lounge with Katy Weber. This includes options for support, online co-working, goal planning sessions, monthly roundtable discussions, group calls, and extensive resources. The ADHD Lounge also has an upcoming podcast!
