Meet Our Founder
Hey, I’m Alex! 👋
I'm a New Yorker, a Mets fan, a yogi, and a brunch enthusiast. I also have dyslexia and ADHD.
After spending my career working in leadership development, I decided to start a consulting and coaching business that will help adults with learning disabilities and/or ADHD who have been struggling in their careers. My business, Cape-Able Consulting, was created to help them navigate their day-to-day workloads so that they feel supported and are able to reach their highest potential.
My biggest goal in creating Cape-Able Consulting is to change the stigma surrounding learning disabilities/ ADHD by reminding people what they Cape-able of.
I am uniquely qualified as someone who has lived with these disabilities and knows the day-to-day challenges while also having a successful career in program and leadership development. If you’d like to get to know me better, click here for an introductory blog post!
I currently offer 1:1 coaching, and courses for adults with learning disabilities, ADHD, and anyone who has trouble staying focused and productive in their daily lives.
Together, we can show the world what we’re ‘Cape-Able’ of!

What People Are Saying
“Alex is the first person I have ever been able to so openly talk to about the struggles I’ve faced with my ADHD throughout my life. She truly understands what I’m going through. The first time we spoke I was moved to tears because I’ve never felt so understood. If you are struggling with your learning disability, I highly recommend speaking with Alex. She has really helped me see myself in a better light and given me tools to use when I am struggling. She is the best! —Jenna F”
My work with Cape-Able consulting helped me reframe my self-talk and perspective toward a more realistic and positive view of my ability to achieve success as a woman with ADHD. It was so helpful to process my experience with Alex, who not only understood me, but also affirmed and validated me, and helped me see the ways in which I'm already thriving. After decades of living with undiagnosed ADHD and internalizing so much shame, it was liberating to accept that I am already more than cape-able and that I can learn and practice strategies specific to my neurodivergent needs. - Lindsey
“Alex’s “homework” pushed me in a good way and always really made me sit down and think. I’ve made tremendous growth working with her and I feel like people close to me have noticed. She really helped me “fill my toolbox” with tips that were made for me and helped me on the days I struggled the most. I feel like I have clarity that I wouldn’t have gotten elsewhere.” — Sarah
